Cherry Mobile is the Philippines’ top local brand who sells affordable but competitive smartphones in market. They are known in releasing China-based* products that really hits and creates great demands for cheap smartphones and tablets. The Cherry Mobile shares huge amount of units surpassing the Korea’s Samsung and other competitors’ market shares here in Philippines. Truly Cherry Mobile result to great dominance than others due to straight and fast releases of products at affordable prices. The proof is wherever you are; you will see people using their products. Units are used by Filipino who is budget-conscious wanting a smart experience in phone without burning too much cash.

*China-based products are not too weak and impotent. Actually most of global gadget-makers have contact with Chinese OEMs to assemble products for them including Apple, Sony, HP, Nokia and more. Lenovo, Acer and Asus are not exception. They deliver to us capable products that we used today so it doesn’t matter if the phone is made in China. The matter is how you will use and care for it.

Anyways, Cherry Mobile’s Flare is the most loved smartphone here in Ph. Followed by Titan, Titan TV, Omega, Omega HD, Razor, and the newbie Cosmos S of Cosmos Series. They all got eyes of the Filipino strongly wanting the smoothness’s and responses they can show at price starting from Php 4k to Php 10, 000. Take note that all the mention devices are good performers making budget-minded Filipino satisfied for what they got. Speaking of the Cosmos Series, the Filipino company started to tease every fan for another mind-blowing device. Just days ago, Cherry mobile posted on their facebook and twitter accounts a teaser photo “zoon”. The letter ‘z’ that replace ‘s’ on word ‘soon’ indicates the next to follow the Cosmos S, the Cosmos Z.
Take note that Cosmos S and Cosmos Z are unveiled last month together with the X and X2 on Cherry Mobile’s exclusive event.

Cherry Mobile Cosmos Z has HSPA+ connectivity, 8GB Internal Storage expandable via micro SD card, and 2,000mAh battery. Then it was powered by Android 4.2 jellybean together with the computing capabilities of quad-core processors. Monstering here is that this device will be the first local-branded smartphone to feature Full HD resolution in 5-inch display. Again, this is the first local-branded smartphone to feature Full HD resolution. Wow! What a big punch for the MyPhone and StarMobile. The Cosmos Z is priced under belt of Php 12, 000. Imagine you can get Full HD smartphone at that price tag? That’s sounds really good for us Pinoys. Even I get interested about.

Not bad for the price ha! I only have issues with the RAM and the Battery life. I’m wondering if they are enough to hold a device with Full HD resolution. However, considering the price, and internals empowering Cosmos Z, it’s still a best to buy smartphone out there. The released date is not mentioned by CM but hope this will arrive early in September. I hope to get a review unit so I can tell you more about the Cosmos Z. Keep in touch. 🙂
