Nokia Lumia 1020 vs Nokia Lumia 1520

The past few days I’m a bit late informed by the latest news feeding on my twitter account (due to busy sched). Anyway, before the 1st day of September come on Sunday; let me share the latest rumors about the Nokia’s first phablet and tablet to release any time within ‘Ber’-months. Hmm! It’s better than never to deliver you the latest happenings in field of technology.

Let take our eyes first with Nokia Bandit.

A trusted smartphone inside @evleaks gave another idea about the upcoming Nokia phablet. Codenamed first as ‘Bandit’, the next flagship according to the tweet of evleaks will be called as Lumia 1520.

I’m wondering why Bandit is be called as 1520 ‘coz I am expecting this will follow the ’10’ in 1020 name and then call as ‘1120’ but it’s not. However I understand that the spaces between ’10’ and ’15’ are provided for new other releases towering 5-6 inches screen sizes. Again, the smartphone is confirmed to have 6 inch 1080p display, quad-core processors and obviously, the Windows Phone 8
O.S. with GDR3 update would be under the hood. At the back we will see 20MP camera which is likely to compete with Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami) in terms of camera performances.

Nokia is clearly trying to expand their reach to larger devices with the Lumia 1520, and even more so with the recently rumored Windows RT-powered “Sirius” tablet.

Speaking of, the Nokia “Sirius” surfaced again with photo showing its red back (I found it pinkish not red), with a small Nokia Logo at the center. The tablet adopts the Lumia-style design and it is said thinner and lighter than the Apple’s current iPad 4. It features 10.1″ display and will run at 1920 x 1080 resolutions, and has been improved for outdoor readability. 6-megapixel cameras at the rear with a 2-megapixel shooter at the front are on board. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor is paired with 2 GB of RAM for smooth multitasking on the pad.
“Sirius” tab is expected to have 10 hours of solid battery life with LTE connectivity and expandable memory storage. The Nokia Lumia 1520 and the “Sirius” tablet are surfaced to be launched later this year. Nokia will unveil the tablet at a launch event in New York, which is currently scheduled for September 26th. while the 1520, I’m still wondering when.
